El artículo analiza la presencia del tema cambio climático en la agenda de la prensa escrita de referencia en Argentina: Clarín y La Nación durante el periodo 2008. Se trata de un análisis de contenido de noticias, entrevistas, reportajes y columnas de opinión aparecidas en ambos diarios durante el lapso de muestreo. Los resultados que se presentan forman parte del objetivo general de identificar la frecuencia de aparición, los géneros informativos, las fuentes periodísticas, la proximidad de la información y su ubicación por secciones, así como los enfoques y temáticas más recurrentes que los diarios bajo estudio presentaron sobre cambio climático a sus lectores. Los datos obtenidos arrojan que el tema sí aparece en la agenda, aunque lo hace como un tópico de bajo perfil y se presente más bien como un problema de carácter internacional. Además, la información se inclina hacia el aspecto de los efectos que el fenómeno podría ocasionar, pero en muy pocas veces se le relaciona con la realidad argentina.

ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the presence of the climate change issue on the agenda of the reference newspapers in Argentina: Clarin and La Nacion during 2008. It is a content analysis of news, interviews, articles and opinion columns appeared in both newspapers during the sampling period. The results presented are part of the overall objective of identifying the frequency, information genres, journalistic sources, the proximity of the information and its location by section, and the most frequent approaches and topics that the newspapers under study presented about climate change to their readers. The data, show that the item does appear on the agenda, though it works as a topic of low profile and is presented more as an international problem. Furthermore, the information leans towards the aspect of the effects that the phenomenon could cause, but rarely is related to the reality of Argentina.
