ABSTRACT
This paper is part of the research study carried out by the first year students at Instituto de Formación Docente Continua Villa Mercedes, most of them from artistic careers, and by their teachers, who agreed on articulating pedagogical devices in the three different subjects they teach to design this research project. It is the aim of this paper to share some of the ideas and reflections that have been coming up from our research study on the artistic field situation in Villa Mercedes during the last dictatorial government. It also tries to state some of the paradoxes affecting the concept of transmission. These paradoxes appeared as the survey was going on and, in order to explain them, we have drawn on some theoretical categories and on the novel “The Reader” (“El Lector”) by B. Schlink.
